A ALTRIX CO

Why Altrix

Who you’re buying from.

There are bigger companies selling software to salons, and most of them are good at it. This page is the honest version of the trade you make choosing a small team instead — including the parts that are worse.

The trade

A logo, or a person.

Typical platform Altrix
Who sets it up You do, from a help center We do, before you go live
What you pay for Per seat, per message, plus AI credits One flat monthly fee
Who answers you A ticket queue The person who built it
When it breaks You hear it from a guest We watch it and fix it
Channels Usually phone-first, sometimes chat Instagram, WhatsApp, SMS, web — phone next
Where this is worse 24/7 human line, US office, huge support team None of those. See below.

Running on a real chair, not a sandbox. The system on this site answers for a working salon: real prices, real artists, real calendar. When it gets something wrong we see it on a real guest, and we fix it there first.

The accounts stay yours. Your Instagram, your WhatsApp number, your calendar, your transcripts. If you leave, they stay with you and we hand over the setup notes. No hostage data, no export fee.

You message a person, not a portal. A price change, a new artist, a rule you forgot to tell us — say it once and it is in.

Where we are

We are in India.
Here is exactly what that means.

Altrix Co is run by Kowsik from Visakhapatnam, on India Standard Time. One person scopes the build, installs it and answers afterwards — so you always know who has your salon in their hands.

What you get out of it

  • Your evening is our morning. 9pm in New York is 6:30am here, and 9pm in Los Angeles is 9:30am, so whatever came in overnight is read before your first appointment sits down.
  • No sales layer in the price. No US office, no account managers, no commission. You pay for the build and the upkeep, nothing else.
  • One named person. The same person scopes it, builds it, and answers when it breaks. There is nobody to escalate to, because there is nobody in between.

What it does not mean

  • No 24/7 human phone line. After hours the assistant answers. A person reads the transcripts, but not at 2am.
  • Not a US company with a local rep. If a US entity, a US phone number and a local account manager are requirements, we are the wrong fit. That is a fair reason to walk away.
  • We will not pretend otherwise. If a call is going badly because of where we are, say so and we will end it early rather than waste your evening.

Data

Whose data is it anyway.

Your guests' conversations are the most sensitive thing this system touches. Here is where they live, plainly, with the legal version on the privacy page.

  • Stored in your tools first Leads and appointments go into your own CRM and calendar, under accounts you own. We don’t hold a second copy as the system of record.
  • Processed by model providers A message is sent to an AI model to be answered. We do not train on your guests' conversations and we don’t resell them.
  • Access is removable We work through access you grant: a Meta app, a calendar invite, an API key. You can revoke any of it without asking us.
  • No card numbers, ever Deposits stay in your booking platform’s checkout. A card number never enters a chat, a transcript or a sheet.

Also honest

Who this is not for.

You probably shouldn’t buy this if…

  • Your calls are 90% of the problem, not your DMs
  • You want a vendor with a US support line and an SLA
  • Your front desk is already answering within minutes, all day
  • You need HIPAA-grade handling for a medical practice — ask us first, don’t assume
  • You want a five-year contract and procurement paperwork

It tends to pay for itself when…

  • DMs and WhatsApp arrive after hours and sit until morning
  • Price questions repeat all day and nobody has a hand free
  • Two artists share a front desk that’s one person deep
  • No-shows and lapsed clients are a known, recurring cost
  • You already pay for a booking platform and don’t want another

Ask us the awkward question.

Timezones, data, what happens if you disappear, what it can’t do — better on a call than after the invoice.
